The above ground studio space is the space for the artist Rosalie Gascoigne. I chose the word broken to represent her work as she takes broken pieces of something the rest of us would consider garbage and makes it whole again. When I was considering the word broken I thought of barcodes for the reason that they seem to me to be a set of broken different sized lines. As you can see I tried to convey that into my buildings as
having a set of 4 buildings in the front that are different sizes as well as different heights and then continue on with that in the exhibition space which is the back not attached as such to the 4 buildings. The exhibition space matches in shape to the front and flow of the entity.
